Article from Knauer&Krüger To all who are already using SAP E-Recruiting! Please note: if you activate Business Function HCM_TMC_CI_1 (Enhancement Package 4) the start pages for the recruiter and the administrator which are based on the Business Server Pages (BSP) technology won’t be supported anymore. They are now integrated in the Enterprise Portal. You therefore have to redesign the authorization roles for the recruiter and the administrator. Additionally you have to readjust two workflows. More changes caused of the new Business Function concern the search function, the Query reporting and the correspondence – please also read SAP note 1241014. Article from iProCon Context-dependent authorization checks – advantages and limitations A lot has recently been said about context-dependent authorization checks in HCM. For more information on what they can do and what they can’t, read here. Article from Projektkultur Mass deleting SAP Queries After intensive use of SAP Query or Ad-hoc-Query, the necessity frequently occurs to extinguish a variety of only once or seldom used Queries. Due to the fact that the menu item ‘Queries’ in the maintenance transaction of SAP Query SQ01 only offers the data maintenance of single Queries, larger clearing actions become very exhausting. The solution to extinguish several Queries is well hidden: Start transaction SQ02, then choose menupoint Goto > Query directory. You find the report RSAQDEL0 „Directory of Queries“. Achieving this report a register is received, within marking of several Queries and deleting of the marked Queries is possible.
