Transporting Organisational structures using SAP Tools

Transporting Organisational structures is a critical and complex exercise in many implementations. Due to these complexities, for most of the projects the approach is uploading of Organisational objects and relationships rather than configuration. The method described in the article helps to synchronise the Organisational structure in all the clients (that are used). Using standard SAP tools the total Organisational structure and the relationships can be uploaded from base (configuration) client and can be downloaded into target clients.

Before the implementation of the Business Warehouse they circumstantially created their HR reports with SAP HR and MS Excel. After implementing the Business Warehouse all reports are available directly and without media disruption now. No report processing is necessary to get the required cost center or organisation hierarchies.
