1. Tips in mySAP® HR
Improve usability and quality within your SAP HR application Most organizations that have implemented SAP HR are now looking for ways to improve their SAP-supported HR-processes in terms of usability and quality. In our 07/2005 issue we dealt with the optimisation of the user interface and various other possibilities to avoid wrong data to be kept in the system. In this issue we will
- show you some options to improve quality and stability of processes by automating them and
- give you some ideas for more effective reporting.
Current change of infotypes belonging to a personnel action After you have executed a personnel action on the first dynpro “Copy Actions” you’ll find the button “Change info group”. The button allows displaying the infotypes which belong to the selected action as well as changing the sequence, adding new infotypes or deleting them. The change will only affect the selected personnel number. Termination action The termination action has not to be executed for employees who retire or will be absent for a longer time, e.g. because of maternity leave or military service. Those employees then would get the employment status „Withdrawn“. The right status are „Retiree“ or „Inactive“.
