Organisational Management
How to restrict Person assignment to Position/Positions more than 100%? How to prevent two people hiring to one Position? Employee assignment to a position or multiple positions can be restricted to 100%. The configuration path to do this is Personnel Management > Organizational Management > Basic Settings > Data model Enhancement > Relationship maintenance > Maintain relationships or you can also use transaction ‘OOVK’. In Table T777V select the relationship > click on select 'Relationship Characteristic' folder > System displays table ‘T77VA’ > Enter ‘E’- (gives error message) against the column '100% check as shown below.
In the above example Relation ship A008 restricts multiple person assignment to a position when it exceeds 100%. On relationship infotype (1001) system defaults 100% assignment to a position, if this percentage is retained as it is, the system will not allow the assignment of more than one person to a position. Relationship B008 restricts multiple positions handling by one person when the assignment exceeds 100%. On relationship infotype (1001), the system defaults 100% assignment to a position, if this percentage is retained as it is, the system will not allow the assignment of more than one person to a position. There is another method of restricting multiple person assignment to one position and multiple position assignment to one person. In this method when you try to assign more than one person to a position or more than one position to a person, the system delimits the previous assignment and keeps the latest assignment active. To do this use Transaction ‘OOZR’> in table ‘T77ZR’ enter the following settings
