1 Tips in SAP® HCM
Performance optimization in the structural authorization check Structural authorization checks require lots of response time. Wherever the number of structurally admissible objects is large, first-time retrieval of a transaction affected by structural inspection may take quite long. Find out what can be done to optimize the structural authorization check. Article from Projektkultur
E-Recruiting: Job and Profile Agent On the startpage for the external candidate is in the TAB-rider recruitment the service “job agent´”. In this service there are two independent agents (job and profile agent), which at first glance is not clear. Read more about the two agents. Article from Knauer&Krüger
E-Recruiting disappeard in IMG With EhP4 some areas of the eRecruiting customizing disapear in the IMG. You can now access the former IMG by transaction code OO_HRRCF_IMG1. Article from iProCon
Authorized Pernr per User Very often the question is: who is allowed to see whom in the PD authorization. The report RHAUTH01 shows all authorized objects per User. You can run the report either via transaction SA38 or via the i-button in table T77UA (transaction OOSB, assigning authorization profiles to users). The authorized objects are only shown with their IDs. It is hard to get a quick overview, who is actually in the list. Therefore we have modified this report a little: two more columns with name and organisational unit are now shown in the table of report RHAUTH01. Article from iProCon
Error when saving a relationship When you save a relationship in organisation management, the system issues the error message: "No time constraint exists for key &1." (HRBAS_ITF 500) The reason is the system runs a BadI implementation of the component EA-DFP (DefenceForces&PublicSecurity), although the business function is not activated. This SAP error can be solved by implementing the sap note 1293363 (Message HRBAS_INF 500 when saving a relationship). Article from iProCon

3 Fixed Price Offer in SAP® HCM
Workshop Time Management Time evaluation in HCM is subjected to continuous change. Legal and operational modifications constantly generate new requirements; the acceptance of new sectors into time management, as well as error correction contribute to the fact that after several years the time management scheme has become extremely complex and difficult to adapt. Other time management processes also require in-depth examination: Time recording (Time Managers Workplace, Employee Self Service …), Shift planning, Quota, Error processing, Reports incl. time slip, Authorizations. Together with our experts, take a moment to examine your time management, with a focus on time evaluation within SAP ERP HCM. We will support you in identifying your own weak points and in developing a concept for a future-oriented, sustainable re-design - all included in a fixed price package of € 2.900 (plus travel expenses).
4 Book recommendation
Adrenaline Junkies and Template Zombies Understanding Patterns of Project Behavior By Tom DeMarco and other "gurus" iProCon Ltd. recommends this easy-read book which describes 86 typical behavioural patterns with a strong impact on success or failure of any project. The succinct descriptions make it easier to identify these patterns in your organisation. Highly recommended for project and programme managers, but even more important for project sponsors and executives, who often drive project teams into an unwanted pattern without even realising it themselves.
